The second edition of the international seminar on aquaculture "Issues and perspectives" will be organized by the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences of Kasdi Merbah University in Ouargla, Algeria. The objective of this event is to bring together national and international players in the aquaculture sector to discuss solutions to the challenges facing the Mediterranean countries and the African continent, by sharing ideas and experiences from all over the world. The seminar will bring together various stakeholders such as aquaculture scientists (researchers and academics), professionals and equipment suppliers. Plenary conferences, presentations of oral and poster communications will be on the program. In addition, exhibitors will have the opportunity to present their products and services in an area dedicated to aquaculture products at the university. The best papers presented during the seminar will be selected for possible publication in an indexed journal, the details of which will be communicated later.
The seminar set itself various objectives aimed at taking stock of the following aspects:

•  Biology and ecology of species of aquaculture interest
•  Nutrition and feeding in aquaculture
• Aquaculture farming systems
• Aquatic animal diseases
• Biotechnology and uses of aquaculture products
• Sustainable and biological aquaculture
• Environmental impact and interactions
• Pollution and water management in aquaculture
